German Research Foundation is the largest funding organisation for basic science in Germany. This is a great emphasis for promoting cooperation between India & Germany. We are trying to promote research in all the fields. We have a programme called Research Training Groups for the young students. Existing Research Training Groups are good means to get in fuse contact with the others.
